Long term storage in Roatan?

Does anyone have experience with long term boat storage in Roatan? We're gearing up to head back to Rio Dulce soon again this year, but seeing some potential options around the French Harbor area.

I'm aware this would not be as bullet-proof an option as the Rio, i.e. Hurricane Mitch in '98.

Are you next to us in West End right now? Not that many Vancouver 27 out here these days. If you are then we are right next door to you and will drop by in the morning and say hi and tell you what we know about Roatan storage.

I spent most of hurricane season last year in Roatan. My suggestion is to check out Fantasy Island, Jonesville and Calabash. The last one, where my boat sits right now (Turtle Grass Marina) is very well protected and the couple running it right now keep a good eye out on the boats and are themselves mariners. I would suggest you take a look at Turtle Grass.
