Looking for a hotel in St Lucia

I think this is the right place for this question. We are flying into St Lucia next week to meet friends who are coming up from Trinidad. Due to the uncertain nature of the deck work that is still being completed on the hard and all the other factors that can delay a sailing vessel, we need to cover the bases and reserve a room in Rodney Bay for at least one night.

I have looked through the various sites, not finding the right place and know a reasonably priced establishment (less than $100US) exists not too far from the water. I also have tried calling the Rodney Bay Marina for local info but calls are not going through today and they previously did not reply to an email on this topic.

Thanks in advance.

Uh ya, this is kinda the wrong place for such concerns.

But since you're on the Internet, try the results of this Bing search

Re: Looking for a hotel in St Lucia

I like to do my initial research with Trip Advisior. The poor and terrible reviews can be most illuminating.

My query on Rodney Bay came up with only one hotel, however there are quite a few more in the surrounding area.
