Marinas in Turks & Caicos

Hi all,

I am relatively new to this. We currently have a boat under contract with an agreement for delivery to Turks & Caicos. I am looking for any advice on well protected marinas in T&C. Providenciales is preferred, but we are open to all options. It is a monohull with a 6ft draft.

Does anyone have any recommendations? So far, I have found South Bank Marina to be our best bet, as it's a full service yard.

Thanks,

Roman

Re: Marinas in Turks & Caicos

Only spent a single night on anchor.

BUT here is an idea. Get yourself the AquaMap app (iPhone or Android). It is really useful and has Active Captain data. For a small fee you can get Bahamas and Turks Explorer charts, and you really want those.

The Active Captain access is worth the price and you get great marina recommendations, right on a chart.

Re: Marinas in Turks & Caicos

We kept Callisto at Turtle Cove Marina for a few months. It was fine. The entrance is TRICKY and they will send a boat out to lead you in. Beautiful water but the T&C are just big dusty rocks! Marina was fine, airport was close. English doctors (one of my crew was sick as a dog). Overall, nice place. BEST DIVING! If you are going west from there be sure to stop and enjoy the bight at Acklin Island. Maybe one of the most beautiful/magical places I have ever seen. Unfortunately, just an open roasted anchorage so keep an eye on weather.
