Wow! Almost empty, compared to the ±400, in old days [90s], when I used to avoid GT, until the Family Island Regatta [end of April, IIRC?]. Although, Maggie & I did fly in, for the New Years Junkanoo, one year.
I used to provide support to “Lady Muriel”, and “Tida Wave”, from Staniel Cay [captained by Kenneth Rolle, Rolly Gray, & Brooks Miller - perennial champions, all]

Are they still holding the regatta [Covid]?

Re: Newbies looking for buddy boats to Bahamas Dec/2020

I don't know if the regatta is on or not. I meant to ask someone about that. We leave mid march, so we've not thought too much about it.

We're not regulars here, and aren't very familiar with the goings on. It's been 14 years since we last visited Georgetown, and 26 years since the first time. It has changed quite a bit since then; as have we.

Cheers.
Paul.
