Re: Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico - What Happened to the Marina ?

Sorry for dragging up such an old topic but I've got a question about it.

Does anyone know if I can anchor in "Ensenada Honda" which is "Roosevelt Roads Naval Base" on Puerto Rico.

Active Captain gives me 1 "yes and it was fine" and 1 "I heard you can't any more" - review.

The answer turns out to be: yes you are allowed to anchor there. I'm anchored in front of a coastguard boat as I'm writing this, not being chased away.
