Re: Trump Bans Sailing to Cuba

Does anyone know for sure if the ban applies to US registered boats or is to US passport holders?
Example: If I have a US registered boat but enter under a Canadian passport, is this an issue?

Re: Trump Bans Sailing to Cuba

The reason this thread keeps going political is because the title itself is inflammatory.

If people want to discuss the sailing aspects of this decision, then the thread should have been started with a sailing-related post. You know, to show people the way.

I think perhaps you are too simplistic. The reason the thread goes political is that contributors pay no attention to the rules of CF.

Members are not 'obligated' to respond to posts that they deem politically incorrect, members are 'obligated' to work within the parameters of membership criteria.

MANY posts have been removed. This will now cease and be replaced with infractions and finally thread closure.

This is an international boating forum. The site team get accused of favouring the Dems or the other side... About half the site team are not American, so that accusation does not wash.

Get over yourselves. If you wish to accumulate 3 strikes and be banned for several months over politics, fill yer boots.. No more tolerance for flagrant rule breaking.

The choice is yours.
