Two hands for Florida to Caribbean

We're looking for a ride for two people from Florida (Key West or other) to a Caribbean destination in mid-June or late July. Both of us have minimal sailing experience and can be of assistance as a crew member. The destination is not important. We are also looking into the possibility of transporting our motorcycle (about 600 lbs.) by boat. Are there any cargo boats that make this trip on a regular basis? Any information or recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Try Tropical Shipping

Tropical Shipping - Contact Information for U.S. Offices

They have cargo shipments to the Eastern Caribbean and elsewhere and, I believe, sometimes take passengers.

Be advised that the trip from Florida to the Eastern Caribbean is often not an easy one for small yachts (against prevailing winds and currents), so might not be desirable for those new to sailing.

Bill makes good points. You should also be aware that June through the end of October is hurricane season in the Caribbean and most people try to avoid sailing into the tropical waves that roll off of Africa with some regularity during the summer.

Wow. Can't think of a worse introduction to ocean sailing...
