Update On The BVI's?

My husband and I are chartering next month in the BVI's with another couple, and I'm interested in some updates from anyone who has been there recently. I know many of the businesses are recovering.. but what are the islands actually looking like? Does it still look like a war zone? or are there still lots of pretty (intact) anchorages? Also, how are the crowds? I'm assuming that since so many of the boats down there were destroyed, the number of boats should be pretty light, right? Also.. we like to snorkel... were many of the reefs destroyed? or are there still a lot that look great?

The two reefs the dive charter from the Bitter End took us to were pretty beat in 2012. Lots of dead coral. Doubt if they recovered.

Are there other decent reefs? Oh, and as an aside... Where on Lake Superior do you live? I lived in Marquette MI whilst my husband was assigned to KI Sawyer AFB.. (I'm dating myself as that base has been closed over 20 years!!)
