Is it easier to sail with the dinghy on the painter vs use the garage? Love the hull color by the way.

Garrettw - When I'm cruising around I have a lot of junk collected in the garage, so when I do island passages (100 miles or less) I get lazy and dump the outboard into the garage and pull the empty dinghy behind me. I'm not in a hurry and think that the slight drag of the dinghy on a 50-100 foot painter isn't going to appreciably slow me down. This dinghy is ultralight, but I'm planning on getting a bigger dinghy weighing in at about 90lbs which might be heavy enough to make me change my cruising habits inter-island.
