Where to?

Looking for a warm place to go to this winter season that has relaxed Covid restrictions.

I've been there done that as it pertains to having had the virus, and want to be warm without all the hassle of showing vaccination cards, etc.
Is there an island or country preferably an island country that has a laissez faire attitude when it comes to the current cold going around?
ps. Costa Rica will be enacting a Vaccine Mandate that does not give credit for having previously had the virus. This is forcing me to find a different slice of paradise somewhere.

Re: Where to?

Dominican Republic, its NOT Florida.

Luperon is a good staging location and the DR is quite large with a lot of history and really tall mountains.

Re: Where to?

Having had it before is not nearly as protective as the jabs, almost irrelevant against Delta.

The point is not so much preventing getting it, breakthrough infections are not so rare

but reducing likelihood of suffering the serious effects

and of course greatly reducing the odds of passing it to others, especially those who cannot get vax'd.

Those countries being lax wrt their own citizens, are unlikely to do so with foreigners coming in.

Re: Where to?

I knew Florida was lax. I just may have to get to know my home state better! Thanks for the DR suggestion. I do appreciate getting to know other cultures..

Re: Where to?

Paul I did not see a specific country in your post, but sounds like Corona Circus. That is not the place I want to be. Thanks.
