1983 Roberts Classic Schooner — provenance

I am trying to establish the provenance of my 45-foot staysail-rigged Bruce Roberts Classic schooner which I bought in Yeppoon in 2007 (pictured).
At the time of my purchase she was called Maikey IV and owned by a local, Toshi Ikeda.
The information provided me when I bought her was that she was built in 1983 by Steve Horswood. There are some invoices that indicate that she may have originated in Queensland, although alternatively these could simply relate to items bought when she was visiting the State.
She was also at some time called Sandpiper, from photos that I found on board. Also on board are a variety of charts (some copies) of Victoria, Bass Strait, the east coast of Australia and some of the islands of Melanesia and Tonga. There are plots drawn on the Australian charts indicating that she likely did, indeed, sail those waters. It is tempting to think that the charts of the Pacific Islands point to her having sailed there, although this is less certain.
One of the Bass Strait charts is marked:

Best wishes
Schooner Reddett

but it is unclear whether this name refers to my schooner or the yacht wishing her well (more likely the latter).

If anyone has any other knowledge of this yacht, I would be interested to hear.

I’m afraid I can’t help you with your search, but it’s always good to welcome a schooner to the fold. JR
