Or look at from a different perspective. That video was posted 10 days ago and 30k people have watched it, free advertising. Other than the comments about it being dirty he had a lot of good things to say about it, so sit back a wait for the offers to roll in

That is not my boat in the foreground, my boat is an Endeavour 32. It is the boat behind that one.

Yes, that is not my boat in the picture that Forum member "river" posted.

That looks like a screen shot zoomed in on the boat next to mine. You could see that boat in some of the pictures that were posted in the ad on Yacht World. The ad that in NOT there anymore because I have taken the boat off the market.

If you click on the link to my YouTube channel you will see my boat. Obviously. And you can see it is nice and clean.

I mean seriously, if my boat did look like that, well yeah, you could call it filthy.

It looks like the advert for the original poster's boat contained a picture of the neighbouring boat, which is dirty, and the youtuber thought the photo in the listing was a photo of the boat for sale. So it seems the lesson is, if you are selling a boat only include photos of the boat you are selling, not other ones, especially not dirty ones.

I don't understand the problem. He says nothing but nice things about your boat.

If your boat is clean, sit back and wait for the offers.

If it's not clean, by all means take the opportunity to clean it up, and pleasantly surprise any possible buyers.

Also, maybe make sure the neighbor's boat isn't more prominent in your photos than your boat. May require a dinghy ride for that photo from the rear.

We used to watch him when he was out cruising. He went places we are l planning to go to so it was informative. When he got back home he did a couple videos just complaining about his girlfriend leaving him. Haven't watched since but they do pop up on my feed. Seems now he's just posting stuff to put something, anything up.

The question then is why does the Yachtworld post have a picture of a grungy boat as part of the pics of YOUR listing. Yachtwold like realtor or car shopping websites is a marketing effort. Selling cars/boats/houses is all about curb appeal and appearances. If the pictures show a grubby boat its going to get noticed and distract from your listing. Doesn't really matter that its actually your boat in the BACKGROUND. I'd be asking my broker WTF they were thinking but throwing that picture in there with the other good pictures...

He's not wrong stating a grungy boat can be a bargaining point for the buyer. generally it tends to indicate an owner that doesn't care about their boat/car/house

He more like a grumpy movie critic now than anything and just posts fluff.
