Addressing galvanic corrosion on toe rail / stanchion joint

Hi All,

Does anyone have suggestions on how to address galvanic corrosion caused at the joint between stainless steel stanchions and an aluminum toe rail? See photos. I was recommended 10 mil PVC tape. Other options include butyl tape and/or epoxy.

Thanks!
