advice what fuse for batteries

With that little engine you'll be fine (I say this with a full disclaimer that I take no responsibility for this) with a 200-250 amp fuse. The 300 would protect you from a dead short, but may allow a stuck solenoid to cause a fire...

Knowing the size of the cables from the battery to the engine would make fuse selection more plausible, small wire requires smaller fuses.
