A friend of mine sailed a couple of them across the North Atlantic a few times and I believe Yves, Galenus? the maker of the Cape Horn self steering systems circumnavigated with one. Tough boats.

There is a film made by yves gelinas called “around alone with Jean de sud”. It’s a solo circumnavigation on an Alberg30.

Hello, I just aquired an Alberg 30. Hull # 540. Very happy with the boat. Very rugged and able to go where you want to go.
