All Knowing Board ... Boat Ramps in Pensacola

Help I'm going to Pensacola area, Pensacola Bay, santa Rosa sound, and would like a boat ramp deep enoug to launch a sailboat, where I can park truck, and trailer for a week, and still have it be there when I get back.

And if it's not too much to ask not too high of ramps fees. Thanks

You might check out the new Boat Ramp Finder that FWC debuted. There are 52 ramps near Pensacola...you can check your charts to make sure they're deep enough for your boat. Can't help you with the truck/trailer issue, but maybe you can find something using online maps. Hope this helps.

As to the truck and trailer, if there is not a satisfactory parking area allowing long term parkeing near the ramp, I would look up storage facilities nearby, rent a space in a secured boat storage area. They will probably drop you off at the dock and take your rig back to storage for you for a small fee. Then you know your ride will be there when you return.

I'm a big fan of activecaptain interactive cruising guidebook. There's information on all kinds of boat related stuff.
