Anyone have a website about their boat?

I was wondering how many people out there have websites or blogs about their boat?

I recently created a website where I am searching for individual's websites for their boats. Particularly where they have documented work that they have done on their boats, whether it be a complete restoration, small projects or modifications and upgrades.

I have a section of my website where I am collecting as many websites about projects done on particular sailboats. In hopes that people out there looking for information can come to my website and be able to find many places where they can view where owners have documented their projects and maintenance that they have done on their boat.

So if you have a website or know of a one that may fit the bill let me know. Visit my website if you are curious, it is in my signature.

Thank You All.

I was disappointed to note that the Cruisers Forum didn’t make it to your "Favorite Sailing Related Websites" list.

Gordmay, thank you for pointing that out. I will add Cruisers Forum right away, it is after all the very first forum I ever joined. I feel a little embarrassed for not having dont so already. The page is brand new and I really haven't added many of my favorite sites.

Martin, Yeah you are write, they are in alot of sigs, I will start paying attention to that.

Alondra, Let me just say what a beautiful boat! I think I may have to add a charter websites page, what do you think. Although it would have multiple links to diffferent websites. Can you think of a short but catchy description to get you noticed? Even though it will most likely be first on the list beause its in alphabetical order.

Tropic Cat - Nice website, I will add it immediately. Looks like some good information.

Jim, I dont think I have a catagory for your website yet, although it is a good looking website. I will have to think of one to list websites like yours under. At this time I really am looking for maintenance, projects, and construction of the boats. I saw the construction page but thats not exactly what I am looking for, if it were build by you personally then that would be a totally different story. Can you think of a catagory that I could list websites like yours in?

Thank You all for the great input. Fabulous websites too.

Your list of websites would be much more useful if you had them grouped by project instead of boat type. Or actually, have them organized both ways. If I could link to "Perkins rebuilds", or "radar installation" or "rudder repairs" I could get what I wanted without reading through a hundred different sites.

Of course, that would mean a lot of work on your part...

dacust- Thats a great idea. I think I can do that. You are right, ALOT of time on my part but it could be worth it.

Do you guys think that would make the site that much better and user friendly?

Scan through the member directory. Many of us show our websites in our profiles.

dacust- I have been working on grouping the projects like you mentioned this morning. Go check it out and see if that is what you were talking about. If not, let me know or there is a more prefferred to group them than what I have there.

Thanks again for that suggestion, I think it was an excellent idea!

If youre adding charter boats it might be an idea to list them by area.

As I haven't managed to charter my Vancouver 27 out yet I would be pleased if you added me. I' in South UK.
