Anyone know anything about the aluminum Tara?

Curious to know if anyone had anything interesting to say about the aluminum schooner Tara expedition, other than the basics found on wikipedia-- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tara_expedition

I'd never heard of it until recently, and never knew that there was an aluminum sailboat of that length in existence. I'd be very interested to know about its handling characteristics in various environs, the advantages/disadvantages of an aluminum sailing vessel of that size, etc. If nothing else it looks downright cool in the water.
