Does anyone know of a surveyer named Kent Glover out of Virginia Beach?
His company is Cape Henry Marine Service.
What's his local reputation?

I've not heard of him. He might be OK, but he's not accredited by either SAMS, NAMS (or, shudder) USSA.

I hired Kent Glover for a pre-purchase condition survey of a Cape Dory 25D in 1994. and was very satisfied with his work. His fee was at the high end compared to the other surveyors I contacted, but he was extremely thorough and documented his work completely. (He spent over 8 hrs on the boat, not counting a sea trial).
