Banking while cruising

Has anyone found a particular bank that works better than another, as in more availability in different ports in the Caribbean ?

If all you want is money from an ATM then it does not matter very much. More important to make sure that you have credit/debit card with lowest possible fees. On former British territories Scotiabank seems pretty common.
