Best Place in Florida to Get Structural Glass Work Done?

I need to find a place (within a couple months) to get a couple items done on my boat using epoxy. I need the absolute best quality work available for these tasks:

-Chainplates
-Small bulkhead installation with hardware to connect the bow tube/beam

These structural items MUST be done in epoxy, then painted over the next day with polyester or vinylester resin so I can get back on the boat. Otherwise it takes 6 months of curing for epoxy to stop putting out enough amines for me to go aboard.

Where would someone suggest getting this work done? It’s necessary to step my mast.

If you can do it properly or know a business that can.

Chotu, I don't know what area you include in "Florida," but it is a job I would intrust to our yard (MS Dockside Marine, Carrabelle), or possibly them plus Marshall Marine (also Carrabelle) as the fiberglas contractor. In those cases, you would be dealing with at most five people who are all accommodating and dedicated. Dockside is equipped to do the job, and usually has a fiberglass specialist around, and Marshall Marine does good structural work. If this is in your area, I would suggest a conversation about your needs with Eric Pheiffer at Dockside, 850 697-3337.

You’re absolutely right. I should be a lot more specific.

Geographic area would preferably be from St Augustine to Miami OR Naples to Tampa bay.

Preference to east coast areas.

Highest preference to Stuart area or Fort Myers area
