Boat show information

Folks:

Excellent information on just about everything on this forum, but now it is time to lay my hands on the sailboat goodies (and manufacturers) only found at boat shows.
I have to go a long way so I'd like to go to the grandaddy of all shows. Which one would that be and where and when? That is, the biggest show for sailboat stuff with the largest number of exhibitors.

Don't know where you are but here in the UK there is the boat show">London Boat Show in January, but I myself always go to the International Boatshow in Southampton. PSP Southampton Boat Show - Enjoy everything about boating in one giant show!

There are many others around the world, check out this site for details IFBSO

Word of advice, make a list of what you actually, really need on board, these places can be a haven of temptation, like being a child in a sweet shop!
Most of all have fun and play with as many gadgets and go on as many boats as you can!
