Bumfuzzle Circumnavigation Number 2

Well, many, many years after their first circumnavigation of the world, Bumfuzzle headed off from Puerto Valeta 6 days ago. Pat, Ali, Ouest and Lowe are sailing their 2015 Nautitech 40′ catamaran and already have covered almost 600 nautical miles in the first five days.

Since their first trip around the world in 2003-07, they have done more than most of us put together. I have been following them since about 2006 and their adventures have brought me a lot of enjoyment. I will certainly be following them again and hopefully when they get to Sydney, I can catch up with them and take Pat, Ouest and Lowe scuba diving.

Here is a link to their website: https://www.bumfuzzle.com/

I certainly hope people on this forum will respect them a lot more that they did when they were first crossing the Pacific.

They're the reason we started cruising, as they made the lifestyle accessible to a generation before YouTube. I'm happy to see them shove off again.

Re: Bumfuzzle Circumnavigation Number 2

No kidding! I must’ve read their first circumnavigation blog 5-10 times (anything to pass the hours at work!!) but haven’t checked in our their site recently. An O40 is a great choice for the trip; hope to see them at some point on their trip round!
