Re: Buying a Boat in Singapore

Thanks Capt! I've been hitting the marinas (probably all by now) and looked at some boats/brokerages, and look forward to the day I finally get my boat...

I will take you up on your offer, at your convenience!

I'll be back on the 15th. Friday evenings at One15 are great as most boaters meet up for beers at the bar at 7pm. You'll get the chance to meet other people and perhaps some CFrs.

If you want to, PM me your email and we arrange it.

Yes, sorry, I should have said it, but I won't arrive until about 9pm on Friday so any day after that.

Re: Buying a Boat in Singapore

I'm another guy in Singapore looking to buy a boat, currently member of RSYC.

I am headed off to Phuket for the boat show this weekend, then we have the 1-15 and RSYC shows to look forward to over the next couple of months.

SO yeah, hi to you all too

I think both these shows cater more for the big motor yacht boys but will probably stick my head in at Pimex.

Agree that in the past both pimex and singapore shows were mainly motorboats

Apparently this year the Singapore One 15 show will be vastly more sail oriented than it was, something to do with sailboats (mainly cats) starting to outsell power in the region
