Can Anyone Identify This Sail Insignia?

When I first bought my new horizon 26, I was hoping to find the original main that has the hull # on it still with the boat. The insignia is a circle with the bottom half almost filled with waves.
Instead, I have this one. Curiosity has been eating at me and I've been doing a lot of research that's leading me in circles. (Pun not so intended)
The boat was built, I believe, in 1959 by Sparkman & Stevens. This doesn't look like any insignia they've used that I can find... anyone have any ideas?

Re: can anyone identify this sail insignia?

That looks like a Sea Sprite, good looking pocket cruiser, or daysailer with a cuddy.

Re: Can Anyone Identify This Sail Insignia?

it's close to the Sea Sprite insignia, their logo has larger "SS", and they're level with each other. these are smaller, and the one on the right is lower than the left.

I know for a fact that my boat is a New Horizon 26, not a Sea Sprite, and there doesn't appear to be any Sea Sprite Sails that would be the right size for my boat.

the mystery continues....
