Can You Help Me Identify My 24' Sailboat ?

Is it me, or does that bow pulpit look absolutely MASSIVE? It's pretty hard to tell without some other reference point, but I'm thinking this is a 21-22 footer.

What is the hull number? It should be molded into the transom near the top on the port side. That may have a clue as to the manufacturer.

You should be able to use the registration numbers on the boat and have the DMV look it up.

Most of the noats I know of the HIN is on the starboard upper corner of the transom. If USCG is close by, have them cgeck it out, there are hidden HIN's inside the biat.

The original photo shows a reverse transom and a rather squarish cabin front. I don't think its a Balboa but could be wrong. As the original post is from July of 2010 I don't know if we'll ever truly find out.

Wonder what ever happened to it? From the pictures, it looked like a do-able project, but lots of work ahead for sure. Looks like the OP never came back, at least under that user name.

I used this site to reference the balance of my researched boats, the problem is the images are not confirmed; though the integrity of advertised selling standards generally insure that the descriptions/images reflect the real property being advertised.

Catalina 25's, at least the 6-8 that I've been on, all had anchor lockers and chainplates for the shrouds at the edge of the deck, probably attached to the hull and not the cabin house.

Where's the rudder? I don't see a transom hung rudder, so either I'm just not looking close, it's missing, or it's under the boat?

Dave is still looking for info on his 23 1/2 loa boat. I thought it was an early Jensen/Cal. Probably wrong, anyone know for sure?

Keel or skeg hung rudder looking at the tiller location.
