Canvas fastening and advice

Looking for advice / product recommendation.

Need to fasten canvas to an eye loop fairly tightly to resist strong winds. Must be as weatherproof as possible. Needs to be a permanent solution but also needs to be undone and removed after a couple of years.

Not a huge knowledge of what I'm searching for, please see b. in diagrams attached


Any tips or suggestions would be hugely appreciated!
