Catalina Associations

Just wondering if there is any interest in discussing the formation of a All Catalina Club/Association, etc. for Georgia. Initially just begin as an informal social group of Catalina boat owners and go from there.
I know there are number of Catalina's just at the Brunswick Landing and Golden Isles Marinas. That said, i also know there are owners, like myself, who live a significant distance from their boats and can't get to their boats as frequently as they would like. So if it just stays as loose social group of Catalina owners... that would be fine.

Brunswick, GA would appear to be centrally located enough to draw from Hilton Head and Fernandina.

In any event, if u have any interest shoot me an e-mail at allsail68@hotmail.com.

Catakina Associations

Allen,
Have you been in touch with anyone from either the C350 Assoc. or the Int'l All Catalina Assoc.????

Perhaps contacting C350 Assoc. editor, Liz Beckmann in Folly Beach, SC.....or the C350 Vice Comm, Dave "Maggie" Brown in Niceville, FL.....either one should be able to help....

Or try contacting the I'ntl All Catalina Assoc. editor, Mike Davis, in Clifto, VA......

If you need direct contact info for them, and you don't have a Mainsheet handy, I can send their e-mail adresses to you directly.....

I hope this helps...

John

Catalina

John,

Thanks.

Good ideas and i do have a Mainsheet.

What i thought we would do first is solicit interest/input from a few owners from the two local marinas and sort of approach it from a committee standpoint and go from there.

Thanks again,

Allen
