Caulk to rebed portholes

Starting to see water penetration thru portholes. Question is what do I use to rebed? I went to lowes and saw a product marine grade for use above or below the waterline salt or freshwater. Its made by loctite as a sealant -could not find the ingredients. I've always heard use butyl-rubber or butylene for windows! So is this a new product or should I find butyl-rubber on the internet?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: Caulk to rebed portholes

Mt favorite for applications like that is Dow Corning #795
You will not find it at a big box store . Either go online or a industrial sealant company.

Use butyl rubber. Tape or caulking tube.
