I checked out that website. WOW! The difference of Verizon compared to the other carriers is ridiculous.

I live/ sail out of Eastern Shore/ across from Annapolis. Done many Bay trips to Norfolk (and on down to Caribbean) and up to Baltimore and over through C&D Canal... pretty much solid coverage on ATT. If you have iPad which has bigger internal antenna/ better reception on either ATT or Verizon and all devices work better up on deck in signal challenged areas (height matters, stay away from all metal. If you have serious emergency/ need to get email/ text out/ in... you can type push send and carefully tape phone to non-metallic halyard and pull up to 45-50'. Take back down in 5-15 minutes from answer... but keep 1' away from mast (I joke that I'm getting air-mail). Range Don't have Verizon but as general rule Verizon usually wins by a nose in most areas of the Country (finishing 20,000 in RV and travel extensively during 40 yr career in telecommunication and traveled with both ATT and Verizon back then... doubt much has changed).
