Possibly not a good idea with the boat aground on the sunken jetty and waves crashing over it.

it wouldnt surprise me if they misread the waters of winyah bay. i have heard some horror stories, of rain soaked river and opposing tides..and 20' standing waves in the pass. so its a possibility...
