Cold weather trashed my AC electrical system

Very cold weather swept through Seattle a few weeks ago. In the low teens at night. Cold for us here.

Went to my boat afterwards. Boat ice cold. Space heater OFF.

110v AC panel had “Outlets” breaker tripped. Reset it. Tripped again. And again. This is the old type “push button” type breaker.

BEFORE the cold snap, I could run 2(two) 1500 watt space heaters off the outlets. Now ONE heater, on low (700 watts) trips it. So the cold weather did something.

Any ideas?

Re: Cold weather trashed my AC electrical system

More likely condensation, increased by the cold. Corrosion somewhere.
