Can I have a go?

Someone who fixes their boat in different locations.

(Frequently stated as "in exotic places", but there's nothing exotic for most cruisers about places along the ICW for example) .

Answer:

1. A boater that lives near Easton, Maryland (NE USA) where the temps are about to dip into the teens

2. Cruisers that are anchored in a tropical paradise that have become bored with the whole just do it thing

3. Guys and gals hanging out at the house or the job that just love to talk sailing/boating...........sorta like you used to do sailorboy

Of course you don't, you're to busy trying to figure out the cruising life.

Enjoy the easy life you have now though because around mid July the heat gets turned on down that way and it can be brutal for one not used to it

I've seen cruisers get so hammered because they weren't used to the heat and the dehydration that comes with it they would end up solo dancing on the boardwalk at locations along the gulf coast. I witnessed this in Pensacola and Ft Walton Beach

We're talking overweight men in their 60's. Not a pretty site.

Are you a dancer Sailorboy?

Whether you are a sailor or a cruiser, on the internet you are no one unless you have a personal stalker.

Have we forgotten boat owners who don't use their boats?

How about those nutty boat owners that spend most of their time working on their boat - by choice

Hey Mike this silly drivel couldn't possibly be taken seriously.
So far we have sailors vs. cruisers vs. RV'rs vs. owners who don't use their boats. how about cruisers vs. people who cut their own lawns or sailors vs. pizza eaters .... just about the silliest thread I've seen.

Much nicer to use 'em than lose 'em.

What say we all just meet up somewhere and fight it out over a couple of stout brews long into some moonlit night moored in the sweet breezes of some tropical cove? And when we're done we can come to fisticuffs over..... anchors!.... the next evening!
