Deck wash hose connector

Sorry if this is a dumb question but the PO put in a deck wash system and I'm trying to figure out what type of hose connector will fit. Anyone recognize the fitting? thanx

Re: Deck wash hose connector

Jabsco makes several quick connects that might work for you. Search Jabsco wash down and you should be able to find several types. It may fit what you have shown in your Pic.

Re: Deck wash hose connector

This might be a left field answer, but it might be one of those garden type click connectors that has broken off inside

Re: Deck wash hose connector

From your photos it appears to have two ears inside the hole instead of three. If that’s the case, here’s the fitting that connects to it.

Re: Deck wash hose connector

Have the same connector and it was the Jabsco Wash down kit. Connector has a slot for the tangs that you depress and turn to lock in.

Always remove for winterizing...

Re: Deck wash hose connector

The depress = twist= lock is known as a bayonet fit!

Re: Deck wash hose connector

FWIW, we replaced our flush-deck fitting(with it's unique, hard-to-find fitting), and installed a female threaded hose fitting with a screw-in cover. It stands about 3/4" proud, but is located very near the raised cap rail so it's not a tripping hazard. When we want to use it, I unscrew the cap and screw in either a 90* elbow or just a threaded male-end with a quick discon attached. And my hose has a quick discon on it, so I can easily use a short piece to wash the anchor rode as it comes up, or a regular hose to wash the deck.
