DelMarVa Circumnavigation 2022

How many her have completed a DelMarVa Circumnavigation? What are your thoughts?

My group of 6 boats did one in 2021 going clockwise. We timed the currents on the C&D and Delaware very well. However, even in early May, the winds were too light and we had to motor aboiut 65% of the time.

This year we are going counter-clockwise, starting at Solomons. We will stop at Cape Charles, then the South Jersey Marina in Cape May, the Summit North Marina on the canal and a raft up on the Sassafras. We have boats from Baltimore, Annapolis and Deale.

This is Performance Cruising at it's best, with a highly experienced group. Our group includes many Offshore Racers and USCG Captains. Under-way we all all business with safety a priority. At a marina we enjoy our company.
