DIY-ish boatyard Seattle?

Going to be helping a friend work on a new (to him) sailboat.

Looking for a boatyard that will let us do as much of the work by ourselves as possible. Tacoma to Bellingham areas. We don’t have a ton of muses work, but some.

Port or Port Townsend, Landings at Colony Wharf (Bellingham) allow DIY.
Seaview Boatyards (multiple locations) don't allow DIY bottom paint or anode replacement).

I would check with Hylebos Marina in Tacoma on Marineview Dr. Not sure of their restrictions but quite a few boats on the hard and people working on their boats.

I have not been there, but Canal Boatyard in Seattle is usually recommended for this

I second Port Townsend. They will let you live on the boat on the hard for a fee. The town is really cool with lots of side diversions. I was there last week!
