Do your solar panels degrade

I saw some other posts regarding solar panels not charging like they did when they were new so I called a friend of mine that has 4 panels and has had them for at least 7 years and asked if he was getting less charge now than he did when they were new his are hard panels not flexible are you finding yours losing power over the years

Yes, but this is well-known and characterized. Many manufacturers post the specs for this, and the rate is usually included in the warranty wording.

For example, Kyocera warranties for the first 10yrs at 90% output and the second 10yrs at 80% output. So from this you can gather that they expect output to decrease around 1%/yr.
