Dover dory Wilmington,CA?
Our boat yard has an old dinghy in disrepair. I was curious if anyone has knowledge, experience or opinions of the dinghy. Thanks.

Fiberglass hull, lap strake design. 10 feet long.

Plaque read Dover dory, car top boats. Wilmington,ca.

Might be an early Lyle Hess, fatty knees design...centerboard trunk and 2" hole for mast.

There is a split in the bow and a square foot of hull is missing. The cored transom is soaked. I recored my Rhodes, so the repair is possible...it's free.
