Well, no, not everything with an AC motor cares about frequency.


For cruising the main place where this comes up is washing machines, because they do care about frequency, and there are few any true international versions that don't.


Most marine air conditioning systems (but not all) will run on either 50 Hz or 60 Hz, as will nearly all corded portable power tools. Some microwaves (but certainly not all) will tolerate either frequency.


Dive compressors can be a problem area though most will do OK, in some cases the motor pulley has to be changed out for a smaller one.
