Europe Dinghy rigging

Hello,

I was trying to rig my Europe Dinghy today and this is what I came up with based on… common sense.

Can anyone tell me is it is ok or not?

Thank you,

Hugo.

As far as I can see that looks about right.

I'm not certain on the red line. That looks odd. Because it should probably pull forward not down.

Wondering if the light green Cunningham has no purchase?

Re: Europe Dinghy rigging

The red inhaul line going through the tack is wrong. Your need to pull the tack forward to oppose the outhaul. Search for inhaul on this rigging guide -

https://www.swiss-europe.ch/index_ht...ggingguide.pdf

Could add purchase on the cunningham by tying a line to the boom at the mast go up through the cunningham hole and down to the eye of a block that has been added to the cunningham line.

Re: Europe Dinghy rigging

Fantastic, I’ll try that, I can see I can thread the redline through the tack. Thank you!
