Faithfully executing Admiral laundry orders

I've been looking for a adequate washer that isn't awkward to fit and stumbled on an LG pedestal washer. Draws 5amps, 1 cu/3 pounds. Pull out draw - 700rpm spin.

Will try to find one to take measurements to determine if it'll work. Let's hope it won't be awkward.

Believe you need the rest of the washer for this to work. If it is like our LG, it replaces the pedestal drawer but does not work independent of the front loader...

Thank you for the advice! We went to the local Home Depot and found the unit, and was able to find a copy of the plumbing/install manual - it actually runs completely independent and the standard install just involves a Y junction tapping into the shared water supply - this might actually work well and I'll be sure to provide updates if the Admiral gives the final approval.

Oh neat. Not the way it was explained to us, but then again- I doubt the sales guy was anticipating such usage. I'd be interested in hearing how it works out for you if you go forward.

Met a solo guy who built his own washer from spare parts(commercial dough mixer, etc). Washed his clothes on deck with it.

Have toploading Haier washer on board. Takes 12 lbs and has done a great job. Gets the clothes really dry from the spin cycle. Would not bother with combo unit that uses 110 volts for the dryer. Our old one had this and the dry cycle was pretty much worthless.
