He is doing a figure 8 single handed circumnavigation - San Francisco around the horn, then around Antarctica and past the horn again, then up the Atlantic, through the Northwest Passage and back to San Francisco. Yikes!!! Start the YouTube videos from the last one on the bottom right and work your way to to the top left.

Matt Rutherford has had him on his podcast (Single-handed sailing podcast) twice since he started. Interesting guy. This is his second attempt. Had to bail 2 years ago after his boat got damaged.

Although Matt Rutherford is a little rough his podcast and his story are great. Very funny guy and accomplished sailor if you don't know his story.
