Finding our first boat in Florida

Hello,
We have always sailed in Buenos Aires, Argentina and as we moved to Miami, FL we are looking for our first sailing boat here.
Our plans: The whole Caribe
Our budget: up to $30.000
Our optimum length: up to 34
Which boat will you recommend us?
Thank you in advance for all the suggestions

Welcome. Have found that boat condition more important than make or model. And the only way to know is to personally inspect. Lot junk for sale in Florida; you’ll need to be patient.

Should add that your price range likely translates into an older boat maybe in the low to mid 30’ range. A Pearson 365 type boat comes to mind. And may need to expand your search range from Florida maybe north to the Chesapeake.

Start visiting yards. You can find boat of your choosing virtually free. Put your 30k into rigging and equipping it as you like. Good luck.

PS. I was just gifted an Endeavour 32.4, running 3YM, and functioning sails. I'll re-wire my lights first, and change a foresail pulley.
