Fleming Wind Vane Web Site?

Hi All:


I've been watching Shane Freeman's videos of him single handed sailing from Australia to France to enter the Golden Globe Race and am interested in the Fleming Wind Vane that he uses. (Regrettably, his boat was knocked down and destroyed, so he never made the race.) But I can't find a web site for this product. Can anyone help? Does the firm still exist? I believe it is an Australian company.

They may be out of business. Someone else was looking for them and supposedly discovered they'd shut the doors. This is internet hear say but since the website is down it may be true. Pendulum Servo Vanes are pretty much commodity items. If you want one there are a bunch of manufacturers out there like Aries, Monitor, Cap Horn, WindPilot, etc. that all seem to work well.

Shame if they have shut up shop. A very good and very strong windvane unit.
