Re: Fort Lauderdale haul out and Dry Store

This is probably the cheapest one, but restricted by Air draft under I-95, probably 53' or so depending on tide.

You can check with Playboy Marine in Dania. Good people and is a DIY yard to boot!

Re: Fort Lauderdale haul out and Dry Store

May be easier moving a bit from Lauderdale if you can. Fort Pierce at Harbortown or the one just North of the causeway on the same side. or West Palm, maybe Crackerboys... are they still there?

You might find somewhere more expensive than Ft. Lauderdale if you try hard enough.

There are some quite affordable yards on the leeward side. Look near Placida, for example. DIY yards with inexpensive rates.

Harbortown at Ft. Pierce is still there. If you plan on doing any work in the yard, bring ALL your money. You'll need it.

Marina Road Boatyard is crammed full ATM...

LMC (Lauderdale Marine Center) safe and clean...probably not the cheapest. East of I-95.

Charlotte Harbor Boat Storage. Just spent two months there. Great rates, great people. Halfway between st pete and cape coral on the second best protected sail area in FL.
