I like the look and layout and reputation of the Great Dane better but this is a nice little cruiser that will be sure to sell soon. Good looking headroom, it could be just the thing for someone who wants to be able to go all the way inside on a rainy day. Sailboat data website claims less than 10 were built? https://sailboatdata.com/sailboat/bluejacket-23-ms some interesting pix on the website; cl boat looks to be the same model.

Anyways, I could see how this could fill a niche.

Did some googling. Def not intended for any passagemaking but who knows someone suggested bringing one to Oz.

Family of three live-aboarded on one

Remember the guy wanting infrared cameras so he could navigate without sticking his head out into that uncomfortable weather? Boat for him.

10' is just too wide for me, can't abide permitting every state I transit.

FREE, or close to free!

79 o’day 28’, $1.9k
Sail drive, no mention of a trailer, middle of WI... might be playing into price. Still, a possibility.
https://appleton.craigslist.org/boa/...927983588.html

77 laguna windrose, 22’ , trailer
No mention of a motor
Looks sturdy enough
https://kalamazoo.craigslist.org/boa...942656874.html

79 Columbia 8.3, atomic 4, $3k
https://appleton.craigslist.org/boa/...935997133.html
Looks to be in good shape, cared for.

83 s2, $7k *********
https://greenbay.craigslist.org/boa/...922220289.html
Looks ready to cruise out in. Hot water shower is a nice touch. More money than most of what I look at, but more boat as well.

*******
The same boat appears again, at $5k on the other side of the lake, with slightly different copy
https://greenbay.craigslist.org/boa/...913797239.html

Caveat emptor, but it could still be legit.

I am inclined to agree. This may be one of those diamonds in the rough. If you don't mind getting a little dirty getting the engine out and have a friendly mechanic and yard nearby, the engine and stuffing box may take care of most of the boat's issues... I'd say its worth a look...
I helped my friend with his MD7A and THAT was considerably more expensive to rebuild.
