Absolutely! Way to get to the roots of the thread; taken as a whole this boat seems to have real potential for value and learning for the right people. [Litany of caveats.] The fact that it is in the water helps.
As part of the thread it’s a great way to crowd source the hunt for value in sailboats on craigslist, kajiji, ebay and the like, and to get an idea of the regional marketplaces in the US and Canada.

Rod rigging, I thought that was longer lasting in general. I don’t know what outward signs it will show for weakness. Just age I guess, I defer to the rod rigging owners on that one.
Still, another great opportunity imo. (That boat definitely comes with high fun coefficient!!)
