Fuel funnel / filter recommendation

I fuel up with a 5 gallon jug at my marina and keep the jug full and below deck just in case I need a day tank. My diesel usually comes from a high-volume station nearby and I've been using a regular funnel to top off the tank.



Hoping to do some long distance trips next season so I'm looking at filtering funnels. Read about Mr. Funnel in Practical Sailor so considering this one.


Any recommendations?

We use one identical to that. It filters out water and dead mice. It is not a substitute for a fuel filter on the diesel or one in the fuel line. If you start with that and then a Rancor separator/filter in the fuel line, plus the usual fuel filter on the engine itself, you should, like us, never have a problem with what goes into your engine.
