Garmin 176c question
Will the Garmin 176 c operate on ships power with the batteries removed?

How to determine if the ships power is active....does the display show anything?

This spring the unit was connected to shore power without batteries and did not start until batteries were installed!

The battery life does display.....is there another display for external power?
