Re: Gave my work notice now more committed

I'm happy for you. I had the same experience 10 days ago on my last day working at the nuthouse. It feels great! When everyone asked if I was coming back, I'd reply "depends on how much of a pay increase is offered in October."

I think I said "Or what are they going to do about it" at least ten times.

So what was the response?

Congrats. Feels good eh? Bet you're already wondering why you didn't do it years ago.

Re: Gave my work notice now more committed

My wife gave her work notice and came out odd the workforce closet today. This boat fantasy is getting pretty severe now.

Re: Gave my work notice now more committed

Today was my last day!!!!!!!!!!!!

It became a cluster duck and I got the feeling that I was being the ahole for not just going along with the stuff no one bothered to tell me about before it was 20 minutes till they wanted to do it.

Congratulations!

Now put it all behind you, and enjoy the next phase which will most likely involve more solar powered ice cold beer.
